Funny how things worked out … I was wondering what Hughes would do with our surplus of RHD defensemen, well it turns out that he already had a plan in place.
He killed two bird with one stone: by trading Mailloux he solved our defense surplus and he got us a Heineman replacement in Bolduc.
End Result: We got a better defenseman than Mailloux in Dobson and probably a better winger than Heineman in Bolduc.
Win-Win … Hughes is like a chess player who is 5 moves ahead of us fans.
