I just can’t picture Bennett or Marchand signing with the Leafs. Especially Bennett, why would he leave Florida?!? Their window is WIDE open, and they’re set up to be a problem for at least next year as well. -whip
There’s only one thing the Leafs can offer Bennett and Marchand; overpayment. The Leafs did it with Tavares, they may do it again, but it won’t work. That’s pretty much for sure because Bennett and Marchand would be world class morons to leave Florida to Toronto.
Florida will be good until Bob falls apart, which at 37, could start next year. Or soon after.
