ParticipantWouldn’t Brossoit still count?

ParticipantBrossoit would not count if they put him on LTIR.
I created a roster of 23 players assuming Brossoit is still injured.
If Brossoit is healthy, they could:
a) try to trade him (won’t get much, if anything)
b) send him to the AHL (he might get claimed going through waivers but they likely wouldn’t care)
c) keep 3 goalies on the NHL roster, and send the Weber contract to LTIR. They would still be above the cap floor.July 30, 2025 at 11:35 pm #18970sc116
ParticipantAh got it – so basically projecting LTIR – understand now.

ParticipantNote: Capwages and Puckpedia are not very useful for the Blackhawks roster reference in-summer.
Capwages:
currently shows a 25 man roster (not allowed in-season)
currently shows 4 goalies (very unlikely)Puckpedia:
currently shows a 22 man roster (unlikely for a cap floor team)
currently shows only 12 forwards, incl Dominic Toninato (does not make sense)My above roster, though not perfect, is a 23 man roster with a more likely player lineup.
