Shortly after I returned to my Flyers Alumni Fantasy Camp hotel last night, I recorded the August 18 edition of Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus. This week’s main topic: Flyers players who MUST take a step forward offensively — not just in scoring chance volumes but actual production — in 2025-26. Who are potential fan base whipping boys if they don’t get to fast start? Which players need both more offensive opportunities and more actual payoff?

Meanwhile, Jason and I discuss what the expectations are in 2025-26 for prospects such as Alex Bump and Jett Luchanko. What are the telltale signs of whether Bump is on top of his game vs. pressing to make an impact? How does the center depth chart play out if Luchanko makes the NHL team out of training camp? If a center has to move to wing, who should it be: Christian Dvorak? Noah Cates? Luchanko?

Additionally, I run down some of the highlights of 2025 Fantasy Camp to date. The championship and consolation games are later this morning.
