The Buffalo, NY TV market has consistently been a strong draw for the National Hockey League. The interest in the NHL remains high in the market, despite the fact that the Sabres have missed the postseason for fourteen consecutive seasons. Hockey fans in Western New York continue to deliver strong viewership numbers for the NHL on National television broadcasts. The high ratings apply to many national games, not just those involving the hometown Sabres.
Buffalo’s remaining seventy-five regular-season games will be broadcast regionally on the Madison Square Garden Network and streamed on the Gotham Sports app.
