It was an absolutely extraordinary pair of Game Sevens that saw out the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets staged improbable third-period comebacks against the Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues, respectively.
Former Avalanche winger Mikko Rantanen put on a virtuoso performance in netting a final period hat-trick, while Cole Perfetti got his team off life support, scoring with three seconds remaining in the Jets’ season, before captain Adam Lowry deflected home a double overtime winner that will line both teams up against one another this week.
With those moments in mind, the boys from Off The Post Radio take a shot at how they believe Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will go.
