On September 29, 2025, the Columbus chapter of the not-for-profit Hockey Players in Business (HPIB) organization will hold a fundraising golf outing and online 50/50 raffle. All proceeds benefit the John and Matthew Gaudreau Foundation.
The HPIB golf outing will be held at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio (9:00 a.m. EDT to 5:00 p.m. EDT). The online raffle is open to the public. Bidding items include an autographed Wayne Gretzky jersey (already professionally framed). a hockey stick signed by the 2024-25 Columbus Blue Jackets players, a Mathieu Olivier autographed photo and puck, and more.
Kevin Henry, the executive director of Hockey Players in Business, appeared recently on our flagship Off the Post postcast. He talked about how the golf event in the Gaudreau brothers’ memory came about. Henry also walked viewers through the purposes and functions of HBIP, as well as highlighting other notable upcoming events organized by regional chapters.
