Participantis there a comment section I am missing? Normally the Ranger blogs are lively with thoughts about games… I don’t see much.

Participanti think some folks were still commenting on the prior blog, but was def not as lively as it used to be even with some activity on that one.

ParticipantIf Drurys plan was to hope one of those players went to free agency he should be fired now. You dont run a team with the hopes a player will leave his team and sign with you instead of one of the other 30 teams (Not including Rangers and the team the player is leaving). That is downright ridiculous. I cant see Panarin staying, as Drury had that big blow out a few years ago after losing a playoff series. Panarin didnt do much to help his case against Fla. I cant see Drury wanting to sign him.

I honestly dont care if he does. Personally, approach him about a trade at the deadline. This is the last year that teams can do double retention in a trade. We can easily get a 1st round pick for him, with probably some extras sprinkled on top. That would give us a 3rd, 1st round pick in a massively stacked 2026 draft. If he wants to come back, hes come back regardless, personally I dont care if he does.
The other caveat is LAF. If he doesnt make significant strides this season, and seems to stay at this plateaued 50 point place. Im not sure I want to keep him here, we could have just kept Kakko for half the price for that production.

ParticipantI’m not sure they looked this good at any point all last season. Attention to detail is remarkably improved, especially in the dzone.
Laba looks like he’s played for years and he already has Sullys trust in all situations. Crazy since he probably came out of nowhere if you think about it. I doubt before camp started they even considered him as a regular, and at this point how could they ever send him down? He might here to stay especially with Trocheck out. He actually reminds me of Brandon Dubinsky
The stars are still fighting it (Panarin especially)a bit but the lower guys really stepped up this road trip. Trying not to get too excited yet realizing they haven’t played a powerhouse yet, but got good vibes so far

There were whispers about Laba for a couple years, but figure we all thought he’d be a developmental project. Nobody really expected him to come into camp and just step so seamlessly into that 3C role… and do it well.

ParticipantMy biggest issues with the site as it currently stands is that it is incredibly slow, doesn’t refresh properly, and I can never tell if I’m looking at the most current blog. I think the activity will pick up if these are addressed. Hope that’s in the works

I think one of the problems that could be an issue related to this is the old blog only had Jan. Now we have 2 other people posting within the Rangers thread. There was never any confusion about what was current and staying in the current blog. Also, it wasnt put together like a proper discussion forum. You didnt have to deal with filtering though other stuff, Jan’s blog would go to the board and that was it. Jan would post a new one, the old one would get archived and that was it.
