ParticipantThanks Frenchy for the write up. It was nice to see Bedard get on the score board with a nice one timer. Looks like I’m getting my wish 2 lines that can be a threat to score.
2 things PP entry needs a lot of work.
2nd i know Teuvo tripped but these forwards cannot keep attacking the puck carrier from below, inside along the wall and let them get to center ice with the puck. They’ve got to clean that up because our goalies will not be able to keep bailing them out.

ParticipantFirst rate, Frenchy!……… It’s not so hard to see light at the end of the tunnel right now. The group, and young core, seems to have taken the coaching showing “enough” structure to have some kinda consistency and the players with blue chip traits showing them at the NHL level. .. That light at the end of the tunnel ain’t as dinky as it was.
Watching Hawk games is really juicy right now.

ParticipantThanks for your comment! You’re absolutely right — the top six needs to keep producing, and down the road, the Hawks will need more offensive support from the bottom six as well. The power play still needs some fine-tuning, but the potential is definitely there — it’s just a matter of chemistry and adapting to Blashill’s system.
I’m not too worried yet. What I like most is that this team is playing meaningful hockey early in the season — that’s key for their growth. One game at a time. Another big challenge awaits tomorrow against the Canadiens — a fast team with four lines that can score. But remember, the Blackhawks swept them last year.
Have a great weekend!

ParticipantThanks for your comment, my friend! That’s exactly the beauty of watching the Blackhawks right now — their prospect development. Sure, you’ll see some mistakes from the young defense core and others, but the key is watching their progress game by game. They’re playing meaningful hockey, and that’s what really matters to me. I agree — watching the Blackhawks has become a lot more fun again!
