Rick Tocchet’s Philadelphia Flyers (4-3-1) are home on Tuesday to take on Dan Muse’s Pittsburgh Penguins (7-2-1). The match starts a run of four home games in six nights for Philly.

The Philadelphia Flyers opened their five-game homestand this past Saturday. Trailing by scores of 2-0 and 3-2, Rick Tocchet’s team came back twice to force overtime. After a scoreless OT frame, the Flyers prevailed via shootout, 4-3 (2-1).

Trevor Zegras earned First Star honors. He notched his first and second goals as a Flyer and recorded a nifty assist on a Christian Dvorak goal. Later, Zegras converted his shootout attempt into a goal. Meanwhile, Dvorak finished with a goal and an assist. Matvei Michkov netted the shootout winner.

Pittsburgh, meanwhile is play the second game of a back-to-back. On Monday, they beat the visiting St. Louis Blues, 6-3. Bryan Rust (2g, 1a), Sidney Crosby (1g, 2a), Evgeni Malkin (1g, 1a) and Erik Karlsson (3a) led the way for the Pens. Parker Wotherspoon (1g, +4) and Anthony Manta (1g) tallied once apiece. Tristan Jarry (26 saves on 29 shots) earned the win in net.

The Flyers will face Arturs Silovs in net on Friday. The Flyers do not have a morning skate on Tuesday. However, Rick Tocchet will announce his starting goalie at at 10 a.m. EDT media availability at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
