The fact that they’re doing that well defensively is crazy after last season. I think the SJ and Calgary game were the only two games where that wasn’t the case. If they could’ve scored more early on they’d be well above .500

It’s a long season but I’m really impressed by a bunch of things, disappointed in some things and surprised by a few things.

They’re are on the right track which is a good thing back to being a good team. Sorry Brukie but they really are

Every team in the east as of writing this is over .500 and has either 13, 14, or 18 points

Good couple of wins. Solid defense and secondary scoring. I want to see Bread take off and I hope it’s vs Carolina. Will seem weird seeing K Miller in another jersey.

TJ, good teams dont sit at a .500 record. They are playing a bit better defensively but cant score now. Mika has been in decline for years, Panarin was going to slow down too but jesh, they fell off a cliff. Its most likely the system Sully instilled. Our defense sucks aside from Gavrikov and and to a lesser extent Schneider. Fox is terrible defensively. Season is still young but Im not expecting more than a wild card battle from this group.

considering we can’t win at home, that wild card might be a good thing.
