ParticipantThe Detroit Red Wings had a good road trip, However, coach Todd McLellan wished it could’ve been better. Detroit went 3-2-0 on this road trip, and the

ParticipantI loved Gibson’s reaction after Barbarshev tried to intimidate him after a shot : he smiled, seemed to say “do you think that will annoy me boy”, and then Larkin came to help ! Calmness, confidence.
The team looks solid but sometimes tired, (bending with the stick on the knees after the whistle) let’s hope the day off and Kane coming back will help for the next games. Rest, rest, rest…
Eager to follow the next game against Vegas at home, they will have to win it !November 5, 2025 at 4:55 pm #47235vlady_16
ParticipantWings did about what I was expecting. Not a bad trip… this team will have more growing pains this season as they try to find their identity. Winning at home for the next few weeks will be crucial to stay in the playoff race. Wings need Kane to get their PP back on track.
And…. how about those GR Griffins ?! Looking forward to going to one of their games on Black Friday. They are the only undefeated team in the AHL at 8-0. Danielson needs a call-up and they can bench Rasmussen who doens’t add any value to the team at this point. He is good at taking bad penalties though. Gotta think Leonard or Daneilson will get a call up if there is another injured forward in Detroit. Watson didn’t get any ice time on the trip and was sent back down to GR.

ParticipantBuddy, great feedback. I’d ex0ected us to get the wood laid to our butts by VGK, but we played an entirely defensive game, and peppered the VGK G like a prime steak ready for grillin’.
I like what I see with the guys, overall. There are a couple of guys who have established themselves as trade-bait (Ras, Gus…), but when every Bergy’s hammering opposing Fs along the boards, there’s something special brewin’ in HockeyTown. What I’m really impressed with is how easily both Finnie & ASP have assimilated into the Big Club. I freakin’ love Eddy/Mo as 1D. I’d like to see ASP & JBD as a pairing, but they both need a bit more veteran presence to help them along at this point…..but not for much longer. And frankly, Gibby & Talbot have really been solid. Not stellar; solid.
The GRG are absolutely housing the ‘A’. Absolutely stunning. From what I can tell, the Big Club is loaded for bear in a few years. What I really like is our G set-up. Postava’s forcing Cossa to up his game, and they’re both looking over their shoulders at Augy. The trick here, I believe, is keeping Augy. Losing him would seriously set us back a while, and Lord knows we need a brick wall in net or we’re going to be stuck in ‘rebuild’ mode for another decade….
Really great road trip. Happy for only losing 2 games, and both were much better games than most people thought. We just need to keep a steady pace and continue to let the kids germinate. And yes; Danielson and Leonard are going to be solid call-ups.

ParticipantFollowing the Chicago game, I’m getting a bit mad : 3/3 pp for Chicago, 0/5 for Detroit ! 35 shots, 1 goal… how can you win a game like this ? I’m getting worried for the season now. If you cannot score on 35+ shots, it is a problem indeed. Grrr, I’m not even listening to the end, though for once it was early enough for me !
Danielson looking good, that’s the only positive thing for now. -
