This team found the formula to win, get out shot by more than 2-1 and let Igor bail them out. I cant see it not working.

Unfortunately, unless they defend and goalie themselves into the playoffs, it’s just an absolute nightmare scenario for the franchise.

The only players without full NMC making any kind of money are:

    Laf
    Trocheck (NTC)

    ….
    ……

    That’s it

You can’t possibly move JT Miller or Mika. Panarin could be traded as a rental but he’s diminishing his value with every passing game.

Our high end prospect cupboard is bare outside of Perreault. We have some B tier defense prospects and 3rd/4th liner prospects, which are good to have but not what a team in this position needs.

We’re likely not bad enough to really have a chance at a top 3 pick. The Islanders really hit gold with their first round last year and something like that (jumping to the 1st overall pick and having multiple 1sts to boot) would probably the only way to save the franchise

Drury should feel the heat right now and maybe that’ll cause him to make some crazy attempts to save his job but honestly I think he’s too arrogant to think he’s in any trouble

    TL:DR Woof

The New York Rangers ended a four-game losing streak Monday with a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues at home. No, that first sentence is not a misp
