ParticipantWhat is the expectation here? In the most optimistic light what can this team actually accomplish? I get Drury doesn’t want to rebuild because somewhere deep down he knows he won’t get the chance to run it. The org is rotten. GMs, development personnel, scouting. It’s all trash. We have no reinforcements. You can, and have, made plenty of coaching and player changes. When does org blow it all the way up? Sully must be pretty bummed that this is where his legacy is going

ParticipantWith Adam Fox out until the end of the month, if all continues to go south, not sure how you don’t sell. The only “saving” grace is that the Metro and East is bunched up, so if they are within striking distance, they may try and stay in the hunt. To me, that’s the scariest part of this, because based on what we have seen to date, a sell off would be wise. Anyone else missing JD and Gorton?

ParticipantNow things can get real interesting if the coaches make fun lineup choices

ParticipantNot sure how this will play out. No idea if there is any pressure on Drury. Dolan had to give the OK last season for Drury to pull his stunt.

Last week at work, I was talking with a couple Rangers fans saying the firing of Gorton and JD was the biggest mistake this organization made.
I think the way things are playing out, might be a good thing looking at the future.

Well, they got Morrow, use him. Hes supposed to be an offensive minded Dman. Pair him With Gavrikov, leave everything else as is. We could feature Morrow, maybe he does something special and then maybe we can move him at the deadline to a team needing an offensive RD.

Why trade a young defense men when they could start to build around someone?

Well, if they dont move Fox… we still have a logjam at RD between Fox, Schneider, Borgen and Morrow. I know Schneider has done well on LD, but I think it would be better to get a proper LD.
