Leafs Convo Sunday Spectacular 12/21/25

The Leafs Convo with myself and Norman James is back. Norm and I will be discussing and reviewing the Toronto Maple Leafs week this morning. Toronto are in free fall after three weak efforts this week, including a 3-2 win over the Bedard-less Chicago Blackhawks in which they played hard for about 10 minutes, a pathetic 4-0 shutout loss to Washington, and a 5-3 loss to the last-place Nashville Predators on Saturday.

There is now a watch on head coach Craig Berube and whether GM Brad Treliving will fire him, and there are questions about whether the leadership group of this club (Auston Matthews and William Nylander) is trying to get him fired.

Here is the latest edition of the Leafs Convo:

The one player that could bring the Leafs a first round pick who doesn’t have protection is Matthew Knies.
I agree with you that they are trying to get Berube fired, and that they need to do something to shake things up.

      Time will tell.

      Thanks
      Brendan
