Secondly, heartfelt condolences go out to Carl Henderson’s family. Carl, the founder and owner of Carl’s Cards and Collectibles in Havertown, was much more than “just” a Hockey Hot Stove sponsor. He was a friend. I knew him for 33 years. When I lived in Havertown, I used to walk to Carl’s previous store location on Darby Rd. He was a diehard sports lover, especially the Flyers. More than that, he was a family man, a pillar of the local community, and just a great guy in general. Throughout the next week, we will run the memorial tweet below.
