Pelley said the Leafs have “generational players” as in, multiple. The Leafs don’t have a single generational player, much less multiple.

Matthews, as good as he use to be at scoring goals, is not McDavid. He is not Crosby. He is not a true generational talent. Everybody else on this team is significantly worse than he is and the supporting cast required in such a short period of time simply does not exist within the system, through the draft or through the free agent market.

That inability to identify what the Leafs do and do not have is exactly why this retard Pelley will fail to do what needs to be done to turn this franchise around. Unless he hires somebody who knows what they are doing, by complete accident, this team will not and can not be fixed until Pelley is gone as well.
