Hello there,

for once, I will not totally agree with your article !
Indeed, the team is not at 100% as they were in december (by the way, every early point matters) and they believe it’s getting difficult. Are we a contender if we cannot win with Larkin, Gibson and Ed not at 100 % ? Others have to step in.
For the future part, is it so bright ? MBN is playing well in ahl, but cannot score in nhl yet. Kasper has lost his game and seems to skate and hit. Danielson and Mazur are not close enough to make an impact. Who is going to be the next Mo or Raymond ?
Other prospects will probably play well in ahl but what will it be for the big team ? We will have injuries on important players, because of the long season or stupid players hitting (see Matthews’ season stopped) and because some are getting older and play a lot.
Todd has done a lot to push them but at the end, they cannot go on pushing every game on the gas, that means they are not quite ready to go further. I wish they can clinch the wild card, but they are not showing us that. They lost confidence at the worse moment, but not the other teams.
This is a bright team when at 100%, nice players, talented for the most of them. But you cannot win a long season like this, and I’m not sure who can come in and play well for us next year, scoring goals, even on the bottom six.
