It’ll be interesting to watch his minutes played this year. Larssonn is the eldest member of the defense but clearly the leader. His offensive numbers have ticked up but if he’s drawing first line defensive shifts, you may see a dip in that this year.
Adam Larsson has been an interesting player to follow, especially because of the way he contributes beyond just the obvious statistics. His defensive awareness, positioning, and ability to handle difficult situations on the ice are key parts of his overall value to the team. These “Fast 5 on 5” features are a great way to highlight the details of a player’s game that can sometimes be overlooked when only looking at goals and assists. It’s always interesting to get more insight into the players behind the numbers.
