    Hello to all,

I am now going through GR7 exam topics and there is one thing that I am trying to clarify, namely what global rewards factors will be the most relevant while analyzing an international compensation case study. As far as I understand there are a number of issues that may impact a decision regarding rewards strategy, namely local markets’ peculiarities, legislation, culture, economic situation, expectations of employees, as well as organizational structure in terms of base and variable elements of compensation package. I have understood each particular factor, but it is more difficult for me to see how they need to be analyzed in combination in terms of business practice. So, a good approach to compensation that works in one country may not necessarily work in another due to market peculiarities, regulation and even expectations of employees. I believe that understanding these differences is more relevant than learning the definitions of particular concepts. I am also checking GR7 exam cases to see how global rewards factors are presented in each particular scenario. Have any of you taking GR7 noticed some factors that were more relevant or difficult to comprehend? I am also using this page for GR7 preparation:
It has been helpful for me in gaining additional practice on exam-related subjects. Should anyone else be using it for GR7 preparation, If anyone else is preparing from the same page, let me know.
