On the heels of the Battle of Border in Michigan, BKFC Ice Wars is headed for Enoch, Alberta on June 28. The event is dubbed the “River Cree Rumble”. Combatants include cruiserweights Steven “Alpha” Wolftail versus Nicky Heinrichs.
Most BKFC Ice Wars fighters have junior, semi-pro and/or minor league hockey experience. This includes Wolftail. Others, such as “Limitless” Luke Noel, have some professional MMA experience. Meanwhile, Will LaPorte brings his considerable on-ice fighting experience to a heavyweight match against the towering (6-foot-8) A.J. Schlepp. LaPorte also fought and won at Battle of the Border.
