BKFC: World’s Baddest Tourney Set for 2026-27

On Friday, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) announced its first “World’s Baddest” tournament. The tourney will take place over the course of one year, beginning in March 2026 and concluding in March 2027.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is the parent affiliate of BKFC Ice Wars. Based out of Philadelphia, BKFC founder and president Dave Feldman is the son of famous boxer Marty Feldman. Famous Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor is part-owner and the most visible public spokesman for the promotion.

Earlier this week, McGregor announced the upcoming World’s Baddest tournament during a press conference. The tournament will involve 32 bare knuckle fighters ranging from 185 to 265 pounds. The finals will take place in the Middle East in March 27. The prize money breakdown is as follows:

1st Place: $15 million
2nd Place: $1 million
3rd and 4th place: $500,000
5th to 8th place: $300,000
9th to 16th place: $200,000
17th to 32nd place: $100,000
Alternates: $50,000

McGregor also announced there will be a women’s version of the tournament to be announced at a later time. Fighter qualifications and prize money are yet to be determined.
