There will be no summer drama of whether Evgeni Malkin returns to Pittsburgh. Per TSN’s Chris Johnston, the veteran center is signing a one-year, bonus-laden deal at $5.5 million AAV.
He can also earn: $500,000 in games played bonuses, $1M if the Penguins qualify for the playoffs, and an additional $500,000 for each playoff round won. The deal also includes a no-movement clause
