The way we’ve played…….WAIT…..
Wishing ALL of you a warm, Family and friend-filled Thanksgiving. There’s much to be thankful for, but….PLEASE remember those who Serve across the globe, away from Family and loved ones. I know the melancholy they feel – please be Thankful for them and more importantly; their Families.
Now, the way we’ve played is just crappy. Blindingly awesome one day, total trash the next. There are sooo many holes on this team. Our D is atrocious. There’s no consistency across the ice. I’ve seen Mo look like a rookie, Chiarot’s been (I CANNOT believe I’m going to say this), the most-steady and reliable. HOWEVER, I truly think Mo’s playing injured from several weeks ago when he was sent into the boards. The guy does NOT quit.
GRG, man that team is STACKED. For a couple of years, there’s been constant deference to GRG and what’s in the pipeline; I think we can see just what the future portends for the Big Club; we just have to weather the storm. And thankfully the East is so tight that even if we crap out, we could still sneak into the SCPO – not that that’s the panacea, BUT……
I know this team is better than they show, we just need to come out hard and stay nasty for 60min, boot-to-the-throat nasty. I still believe that we can pull the trigger on a move or 2 and change the entire complexion of this team. But I REFUSE to part with MBN, or Kasper, or ASP…..they ARE our foundation and it shows. Now, if we could land McD…….I might have to go into the Witless Protection Program 😉 because I’d dump a big name. Regardless…..
There are always peaks and valleys, lads. ‘A man’s true character is how he reacts in the face of adversity’. Time to show our true character….
Again, wishing you ALL a Happy Thanksgiving and a heart-felt THANK YOU to those who serve, their Families, and my fellow Veteran’s; your sacrifices are truly appreciated and YOU are why we are free to celebrate this humbling day.
