Does anyone seriously believe the Leafs are this bad just because Marner chose to left?
Yes, he chose to leave he wasn’t run out of town or any of the other bullshit the biggest retard ever on here spouts off about endlessly.
I find it hard to belive that if Marner was still a Leaf they are in any better a place right now, they likely would have missed the playoffs anyway.
I don’t believe Matthews issues this year aren’t because Marner is gone, they are a combination of injury, new coach & systems and perhaps simply a decline in his play.
He wasn’t a dominant force in the Olympics, the US won the gold on the back of their goaltending FFS.
That being said I’d take him as a Ranger in a heartbeat because I think he’d thrive playing in one of the biggest US markets.
