I’m actually OK with this, despite the batshit term. The caphit is only $2.3m, which is very fair for a quality bottom six center.
Having said that, it’s all but certain that the last couple years of that contract will be on Robidas Island. The Lightning are very good at gaming at the LTIR system, as we all know.
Leafs need a bottom six center like Gourde and he’s off the board now.
