I know this may sound crazy but could the Blackhawks on July 2nd sign Bedard to a one year deal for $20 million dollars, then on the same day sign a 7 year contract at $12 million dollars per year? This way Connor gets him money and we get future cap relief.
I know people are saying Greenway was a throw in, i didn’t know he had sports hernia surgery twice because the first one didn’t work? Was finally painfree at the end of the year for Buffalo. If we get the same guy i saw in the playoffs for Buffalo I’ll be very happy with him, we need a wrecking ball on the ice.

Honestly watching this draft i feel better that the Blackhawks traded for Byram now, so essentially they drafted him with the 4th OA pick. Kind of glad we had more to offer than San Jose
You know the more i think about it the Blackhawks traded a 3rd pairing dman for a top 4 dman who is entering his prime.

KorchinskiWe’ll see how it goes but it does look like he makes our dcore better, i do hope he does grow more defensively in his own end since he’s not 27 yet.
I am happier that he’s a 25 year old player instead of a 35 year old defenseman.
