You know Frenchy this is good medicine for the Blackhawks. I was so upset with the non call than the unsportsmanlike conduct call on 98 it turned me off of hockey for the rest of the week. There’s no doubt this team is very good watching them on the ice.

If the Blackhawks have to earn the respect of the refs, whatever that means, so be it, stepping away i realized if they are going to make this team stronger for the upcoming draft, i can live with that.

It’s also a good lesson for the kids, can’t leave it to chance, they’ve got battle through all the things the wild were doing to them in the 2nd and 3rd period even if the arm doesn’t go up.

really nice work here, Frenchy…. You summed it up, sometimes you win ones you should lose and lose some you should win. Like bad calls, not meant for you Dots, and bounces they even out over 82 games. .. These kinda games are crucial for a young group that is visibly taking steps.

And yea man, the kids are going toe to toe with the heavies and are in every one of these things. They are a hungry group (a wonderful identity) so far and with their skill and exuberance they’re a handful for every opponent. .. And it’s fun to watch. They swarmed MN imposing their will for 40 minutes and every minute of a game/effort like that you feel they can get dangerous in a blink.
