Thanks Coach. Good effort against Edmonton. Another moral victory I guess. Hawks have had a lot of those this season. Seven losses this season as of now. Five by one goal. Two in OT, one in a shootout. One game a 2 goal loss with a late empty netter accounting for that difference. Only one blowout loss, the recent game against Winnipeg. Once these guys begin to learn how to win the close games they’ll start accumulating more points. Goes to show you how one or two misplays in a game can make a difference in the outcome.

    Thanks Frenchy good stuff.

I think Griffins are a good test for the kiddies. Yzerman has been building the club up now for 6 years i believe.

Per our discussion yesterday maybe it’s the wrong way to express it, i don’t take issue with the Blackhawks D pinching in the offensive zone, what’s been burning us is the defenseman after a decent offensive keep will pinch in the neutral zone, and this is bad because the forwards can fly out of the D Zone since even if we win the pinch we have to wait for everyone to get on sides again. I didn’t see that vs the Oilers and hope it continues that way for at least the road trip.

    per Scott Powers:
Oliver Moore was recalled, in Seattle for the morning skate, and expected to play tonight.
Dickinson is now week to week.
