ParticipantThat is why I think they prefer to give Dach another chance or maybe even see if Bolduc can play there at some point this season.
The trade deadline and next summer could be very interesting, if they team continues to progress as much as they did last year.

Participantyeah… as it is their center line is extremely weak. can’t go far as is, but there’s still 2 months to go before puck drop.
they weren’t copmpeting for the cup next season anyway. Rome was not built in one day!
how is their cap situation? will they be okay just by putting Price on LITR or do they have to have to trade a salary out? That is why I think they prefer to give Dach another chance or maybe even see if Bolduc can play there at some point this season.

ParticipantGranlund makes 7M, but that’s 500k more than Gallagher only and it’s only for 3 years. I don’t consider that crazy money but it’s not cheap. No idea if he wanted to come to Montreal but LA seems like a nice place to live when it’s not on fire
Played for the Sharks for most of the last 2 years, went back California… probably enjoys the environment.
Good for him.
But the Habs could not afford the $7M unless they moved some salary quickly. Price will be gone after September 1st, but until then, things are a little dicey.

ParticipantIf they were available / wanted to come to Montreal, I still think he would have brough in Granlund or Duchene, but even they got crazy money given the lack of centers coming to market.
So I am fine, maybe we can also see what some of the kids can do, and also hope that Hage is the real deal in a few years.
Well Duchene signed at 4,5, that was a huge discount but he clearly wanted to stay in Dallas.

ParticipantHmmm I think the issue is what Mash said. You can’t quote more than two quotes so you have to cut the quote by one quote when you’re quoting a quote.
There are a few ways to quote.
there is indeed an issue with the quoting option if you just click on it, but if you highlight the text you want to quote before clicking on the “quote” option then it only shows the highlighted text.
Yeah, not very intuitive, but when I got that, makes it quite easy.
You can multi quote too, the second way.
