Could be…. but then you’re having a Belzile or Condotta as your 13th forward since you want your young players to play.

I think Kapanen makes the team and pushes Blais to 13th forward.

agreed wizord, except I think Laine is gone. so

    Caufield Suzuki Slaf
    Bolduc Dach Demidov
    Gallagher Newhook Anderson
    Beck/Kapanen Evans Blais

I don’t know guys, there’s a spot available and weirder things have happened than a 21 year old taking a big step between seasons.

he’s fighting againts Bolduc and Laine for a top9 spot. Roy is not suited to play on the 4th line, unlike Blais per example.

Blais will be on the 4th line, they need the Energy

So Roy is not moving Aside, Gallagher, Anderson or even Laine, that what I’m seeing :

    Caufield Suzuki Slaf
    Bolduc Dach Demidov
    Laine Newhook Anderson
    Gallagher Evans Blais

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Blais win a spot on the 4th tbh Hugo. he brings something noneelse can do on that roster. wifi jr could do it, but I think he’ll need another season in Laval.

I don’t think he’s fighting against these two for a top 9 spot. Both Laine and Bolduc are obviously in the lineup he has to beat Kapanen, Beck, Xhekaj, etc. to slot in.

As for Blais, he’s replacing Michael Pezzetta as a better player that fights less.

I feel like Joshua Roy may not make this team, unless injuries a lot in our faces

he absolutely not making that team, unless he get extremely lucky. there no space, who do you remove for him to play ?

If he is extremely lucky to make the team, the Habs have a lot of injuries… or they traded some players out.

oh I agree chickenman, this is a better team at 5 on 5, but a much much worse team on the PK.
Savard, Dvorak, Armia… you’re counting on Newhook to win a faceoff on the PK?

Faceoffs are currently a weakness on this roster for sure.

This aside, I think Newhook on the PK, with his speed, has some potential.

    They will find a solution.

Anderson learned a new role with this team, others guys can.

I expect Kapanen or Beck to make the team, no need to panic over this in july.
