oh no. my company doesn’t believe in black people. probably the only drawback of working here is that they’re stuck in the 1800s. kind of cavepeople.

Would you try Heienmam on 2nd line?

    CC- Suze- Slaf
    Heinny – 2C – Demidov
    Newhook – Dach – Laine
    Andy – Evans – Gally

somebody will have to go if we make changes

Depends what Heienmam we get – the pre or post car body check player? He did not look fully 100% after he came back, hopefully after the summer, he is good to go in October.

I think Dach or Newhook get a first look there, assuming they get a 2C.

Still would not be surprised of Dvorak comes back for a short / low cost contract.

With Matt Duchene locked up, #TexasHockey has just under $50k in salary cap space remaining for next season with 18 players signed.

    Buckle up in Dallas.

YES!!! Heineman could do the same thing Slaf is supposed to do on the 1st. work the corners, retrieve pucks, make room for his linemates…
but god do I hate that 3rd line. aie aie aie

Unless we trade some, those players will be somewhere in the line-up. Id rather they be bottom 6 than top 6

jebus… I find a lot of people are way over-evaluating Heineman and have given up too quickly on Dach, but we’ll see lol.

I did think he might come to MTL and fill in for a few years, but a 4 year contract… yeeeeesh.

    Pass.

I think Heineman is a middle 6 winger, whether it is on line 2 or 3 is tbd.

I think Dach’s body gave up on Dach….

for his current production though it’s actually a pretty good deal in terms of salary, he could’ve gotten more elsewhere.

Braiden. with puppy dog eyes, stated:

I think he might be their back-up plan.

I would not be against a 2-3 years deal while they look for something better – either trade, UFA, Dach actually shows up for 82 games or Hague is the real deal.

I see Heineman as a very good bottom 6 player, but he could always pleasantly surprise me, who knows.

agreed on Dach that he’s gonna have to stay healthy, he definitely has the “porcelain player” label written all over him right now… but if he does stay away from injuries I still think he has more potential.

He is 34 and will be 39 when the contract ends (January birthday).

I think he might have gotten a little more per year on a shorter deal, but 4 years is a lot of term.

    I mean, good for him.
