not bad. missed an open net for his 1st NHL goal but overall he did well.
not a bad lineup tbh. you see the job is not over yet, far from it, but I like this line up better. kind of.

I would’ve liked to see what Dach could do with Bolduc and Demidov, he was starting to look like he belonged in the lineup, but the “broken goods” label is more than official now, sucks for him but they just gotta move on.

Kapanen keeps surprising me, so that’s nice, let’s hope he continues on this trend.

    Bolduc Kapanen Demidov.

you can rely on him to play second-line minutes if need be, but ideally you want him on your bottom 6.

    exactly

meh, not in my book. too small and doesn’t score enough (unlike Caufield) to deserve top6 minutes.
    decent 3rd line winger imo.

yeah, you’re right, I guess my point was you can rely on him to play second-line minutes if need be, but ideally you want him on your bottom 6.

he has the potential of becoming a 2nd line player.

yep, play the kids, see what you have.
Laine, Newhook, Dach… tbh none of them are top6 material

yeah, well Laine sucks when it’s 5 on 5, Dach is simply unreliable because he’s always injured, but I’d say Newhook was looking much better before getting hurt, he has the potential of becoming a 2nd line player.

I’d rather consider other options and use that cap space more efficiently.

Not tht I want Stamkos, but if they were going to trade for an older player, I’d rather have one with a few years left than one with 5or 6+.

Will just use Laine’s cape space.

not a bad point, but at the same time, Stamkos isn’t looking good at all right now. Even if it’s a short-term deal, I’d rather consider other options and use that cap space more efficiently.
