    I think the expectations that have been set for Demidov might be too high for the upcoming season, for various reasons.

    Primarily, he is a rookie playing his first 82 game season, and then at the NHL level. Also, I do not think he will be playing with ideal linemates, as the second line is in flux.

    HE should benefit from Power play time, though.

    Long-term, I have very high hopes, but this upcoming season, if he can manage 20-25 G / 25-35 A for somewhere in the 50-55Pts range, that will be a huge success.
