ParticipantHe has been less than impressive so far but keep at it. He has a hell of a shot and when he figures it out
I think he’ll be an Oiler then.

ParticipantJust imagine having two of that type of player. I think Canucks give up too early on a lot of young first round picks. Horvat Podz Lekker. I have always been a Podz fan and I think he will just keep getting better and better. I see him becoming a Nichuskin 2.0 when all is said and done
Lekkerimäki is close to entering Olli Juolevi territory. He needs a breakout season.

They essentially replaced Podkolzin with Linus Karlsson because of their fetish for Swedish players. Karlsson’s a year and a half older but pretty much gives you a similar game, he had 35 points to Podkolzin’s 37, but Karlsson plays with bottom six plugs in Vancouver, not two of the best players in the world in McDavid and Draisaitl like Podkolzin.

ParticipantI was just reading the Edmonton daily face off and it was talking about Podkolzin how hard he is training. He looks slimmer faster his shot looks harder and they love him in Edmonton. If only Canucks had a young player that passionate and dedicated.
Novontny has been compared to Podz by quite a few. His size, skating, shot(although Novotny may have better), and relentless forecheck. Both players got a taste of pro early.
If Podz wasn’t Russian, most likely RT would have been more patient with him and he may still be a Canuck in the end.

ParticipantThe problem might be that other teams are only kicking tires and Canucks would need to sell 10 cents on the dollar. A team may say we will take Boeser but you would need to retain salary and we will give you a second round pick.

ParticipantRead online yesterday they’ve (management) tried to overturn the roster much more than they already have but they haven’t had a lot of success/takers thus far. More to come…
You’d think they would. Debrusk 100%, Boeser probably in there, DOC, and of course the flake.
