Seems Kindel is a pretty polarizing player. Some had him top 10 others had him 20+.

I stand by what I said. I think Dubas wanted a top flight player and he couldnt get it done. Thats disappointing.

I actually like the trade. 12 for 22 and 31? That’s good value.

Weird because “younger and faster” was the one positive thing the broadcast said. Small and slow is a bad combination

There’s plenty of good players to choose from at 11 and 12. He could have had kkndle probably at 22. I thinks he’s a damn moron and completely screwed this draft

Kindel played on a line with Tanner Howe in Calgary. Pens scouts had a lot of eyes on Kindel. I’m not really a big fan of the pick personally. I wanted Eklund.

I don’t like trading back either because they could have taken Eklund who has a top 6 potential and with the 22/31 picks.. they’re more than likely going to wind up with bottom 6 guys.

I think it was a bad pick but Dubas has historically drafted well. Not the area to call moron on

I bet they traded down to get more time to trade the picks for players.

Im not angry at the pick, at the end of the day, I have no idea if he will work. I just laugh when i hear that Dubas wanted to make this team bigger and harder to play against. so much for that.
