Blashill moved Mikhayev up to L1 and moved Donato down to L3 to start the 3rd and has left it that way. …. Donato didn’t show much in the first two periods.

I love how Florida doesn’t care who you are they are going to take time and space away from you and always seem to have two guys attacking the puck carrier

Around 1:45 left, Hawks had clean possession behind their own net.
Any semi-veteran team breaks that out slow so they can pull the goalie.
The Hawks farted around and lost possession.
Growing pains.

Only thing I hated about the game was the final score. Lots of positives to take away.

Sure looks like the play the final 15ish games last yr has carried over, at least for tonight. I’m sure they were clubbed in the fancies but the club competed for 60 minutes and especially after getting swarmed the last 1/2 of the 1st.

Good God, is Weekes an empty suit. Says nothing of value. Nothing.
