OK Rico, for as much as I think Crevier is “just a guy”, he certainly knows when to take an open shot. Love to see it.

6ft 8in, RS Dman, balanced skater. I can make room for a guy like that. Love he’s the 7th Dman so Blashill can spot him to succeed and not overload him. ……. Really wanna see the group get this win. 6 periods now of honest effort. Hope they’re rewarded.

The Bruin’s IMO are definitely in on the McKenna sweepstakes. It is Pasternak and a bunch of third liners and has been

The Hawks have plenty of guys we would all be fine with if the team was good.
Go look at the Cup era team rosters.
Dozens of guys that would have been nothing if the team was bad like now.
They were elevated because the team was so good.

This team might lead the league again in taking dumb penalties.
    Greene/Foligno and then Nazar.

    They gotta clean that up.

Better, but still needs a lotta work.

Hawks on a pace for 41 points this season.

They really tried to give that game away today. Soda gets the point for this game.

One forward has got to protect the center of the ice in the dzone to many grade A chances for Boston.

Might as well let the kids play if you continue to play 5 and 48 together, yikes

That’s 2 games Rinzel gets a grade AAA chance, i hope he hits one of those soon.

Anyone notice how often the Hawks come in waves? They gain the zone and often enough they have a man coming in the 2nd tier and then another after him. They’ve done this a few times and it creates fantastic chances. Did that v Florida a couple times too….. Really tough to defend.

Yeah, Gryz is just a guy there. Outside of not clearing that puck out of his feet hard, he wasn’t horrible, but he’s nothing to get excited about. Outside of Kaiser, Vlasic, and sometimes Murphy, there are a lot of “hope” passes from the backend that become turnovers or icing. Hopefully after about 10 games those numbers come down.

Yea LA, Bruins don’t look like they have much. Didn’t impress in any way.

You can see the glimmers, it’s just ugly right now. There is very little consistency, and if one guy is having an off night, the entire line just gets buried. The Nazar-TT-Bert line tonight struggled to maintain much of anything. TT couldn’t handle anything on his stick and Nazar looked like he didn’t know what was going on in several occasions.

If Burakovsky can bring this 75% of the time he’ll have a good year.

Off topic – I still don’t know why the D-men are so reluctant to shoot. Especially after Crevier scored, that should have gotten all of them to be more aggressive taking shots from the points. Rinzel seems to mostly take them if he skates it in, and Lev seems kinda lost as to when he wants to shoot (although his move to set-up Burakovsky was really nice).

I do like their team speed to me it seemed like Boston was going to use physicality against our speed, which worked at times.

Bruins have good structure a top scorer and a number 1dman, they’ll be drafting between 7 and 14.

Well, we found out that the hawks have two pretty good young Goalers
Arty really wants to use his hockey skills to be a difference-maker, but has be seeing doghouse after teasing us with upside and killing the tempoes for his parent club
    Complain?
What’s the point? They got a point.

Leaf’s first rounder shows why they chose him, not why they traded,Fraser Minton.
