    Glad to see Dickinson back.
This will be one of the toughest tests of the season so far.
Win or lose, they have to play 60 minutes and try to show they at least belong on the ice with the Avs.

A win? Icing on the cake.

Wonderful answer to the most adversity this young group has seen this season against the best and fastest in the league. A bad period v SEA, their answer to that was getting mutilated in BUF, who beat CAR today to make it 5 wins in the last 6 games, then this game…… In a season where every damn thing has gone right until the 3rd v SEA this period was a great answer.

Don’t need to be Toe Blake to figure out this club took the coaching outa the last 4 periods and came out STRUCTURED, fast and hungry. Was worried about the structure after that BUF game. First time this yr it totally collapsed and it was damn near every shift…… They still may get beat 5-nuttin and I’ll be ok with the game cuz of that 1st.

Highlight of the 1st for me was Bedard won an unclean opening faceoff v MacKinnon, flew into the Ozone, backchecked at 100 MPH to the redline and got OFF the ice after a 27 second shift. Kid plays hockey like that and 184 dominoes fall from that. ……. That’s winning hockey which is followed by goals, wins and cups.

Just showed up, thanks for the 1st period recap.
Sounds like they’ve been “hanging in there” in the 2nd. If so, that’s a big improvement over a lot of other 2nd periods.

    Dang it.
Rare mis-play by Knight ends up burning him.

At the game and the most noticeable thing i see is the processing speed to make a pass, i can’t wait until that processing speed gets to the NHL level for these young players

It’s easy for us fans we see the guys open on the ice but yea the Blackhawks could of had 4 to 5 odd man advantages if the defenders knew what we saw but i trust they will get there with experience

My bad. They were not “hanging in there” they got beat bad in every metric.
Gotta show some bounce back in the 3rd.

Very nice recovery through 14 minutes of 3rd period action.
Some nice forechecking and O-zone time.

An effort to be proud of tonight.
With the empty net they showed a lot of fight, and dare I say, poise?

They were simply beaten by a superior force.
    Good job, young Blackhawks.

I know they lost tonight but they played great. They didn’t look out of place at all vs this team. They were skating great MacKinnon was ordinary tonight and many teams can’t say that. I can’t wait until this young team plays mentally faster with the puck or receiving the puck. They are so close to being really really good.
