Or are we going back to 12/6 for tonight?Slaggert was sent down to Rockford, so probably 11/7 again. This season is about development and learning how to win, I’m okay with the 11/7 lineup, gives the young defensemen the opportunity to play at the NHL level. If they make a mistake, they can sit for a few shifts and learn from it.

Didn’t see that, thanks.
Yeah, the 7D is working, no pressing need to change it.
I still think Arty could use some heavy, unsheltered minutes in RFD, they could award someone else a few games up in CHI. -

Sure he makes some mistakes, however he needs to play up with the big club and play against NHL speed. In my opinion, if he was to be sent down now he would dominate in the AHL, the kid is strong as a bull. Give him until the 25 game mark, and then maybe you can convince me otherwise. 4-2 Hawks tonight…

No worries sir.
I don’t *hate* Arty, I just think he could use some top minutes in the AHL. He’s been sheltered in the NHL, and playing under 15 min/game.
Help him mellow out in his own end, he’s too spastic and indecisive.
You can always bring him back up again.Meanwhile, you could reward and test other young D-men to see how their game is progressing (or not).
Who else would you send down to give KK, EDM and Allan some NHL work? -

ParticipantEven period. Blackhawks turned up the pressure in the later half of the opening period. Oliver Moore has been really noticeable in his first period with the Blackhawks this season.
Shot attempts: 14-12 CHI
Shots on goal: 10-10
Scoring chances: 7-8 SEAFirst 9 minutes Kraken had 9 shots, only one last 11 minutes…
Bon Match

Who else would you send down to give KK, EDM and Allan some NHL work?I would love to see them bring up EDM. I think he’s learned all he can in the AHL with 126 game feathers in his cap and would learn more at the NHL level at this point. I thought he had a solid camp but his preseason games were a bit meh overall. That could also be attributed to the new systems but seems to be doing well in Rockford. Team could definitely use his sandpaper as well.
