ParticipantMUCH To TALK about N O T H I N G
Sacha BOISEVERT is in the line up.
So, the speculation of his absence was all speculative Horse feathers…

ParticipantI’m not really expecting anything from Sacha other than a hard working hockey player who doesn’t pass up putting a body on a body. What i think is he’ll be one of these grinders on the ice with a very good shot.
If he could be a good defensive player who goes to the corners the front of the net, punishes opponents and can score 20 goals a year, in my humble opinion you have yourself a valuable playoff hockey player.

Participantyeah, no.
I do not like being told I am incorrect in my opinions. I respectfully will stay here if they want my opinion, they can come on over…

ParticipantIf you were expecting Sacha to be a play driver, he was never one. More of a solid defending player, with really nice shot. And it’s all the better if he signs, and spends the developmental time to get himself ready for a second signing at a moderately lower resign, b/c there is no projected top line expectations and will be offered that of a mid lineup forward WHEN he re-ups. Whether he plays in Rockford or the bigs isn’t going to do anything to change that. He needs time and support and I am sure the young bloods will welcome him into the system.
That draft was the one where Isle’s GM dropped down two slots to #20 so the hawks could jump up to and take Boisvert.
I know many of you liked the allure of gym rat physically engaged, but man, I like the other three taken better: Trevor Connell (attitudes), Cole Eiserman (200 foot engagement) and Micheal Hage (no chinks in the armor and got bigger).
I’d love for the Hawks to have gotten this right and make me look like a rookie observer again. And I am willing to bet Sacha B plays in their next playoff game.

ParticipantAh, I take it like I did Sevarelli’s (sp) between period insider “segments.”
You learned nothing about the sitting out.
Was it a benching as a wake up call? (THAT SEEMED TO BE THE IMPLICATION)
Was it a “Your leaving anyway…?”
Was he nicked up, has a flu bug?
Was it really REPORTED? The TV segement left that absence from the college playoffs as “ON Sasha situation and smelled of balming him.”
I guess if he plays again or doesn’t brings forth evidence of what is what.

ParticipantDo we have to round up everybody else?
Are they gone headed to Elbow’s site?
Here’s a link to register at Elbows’ site. There is much more Hawks conversation there and the site is easier to navigate. Dots, Wiz, Frenchy and others are more than welcome to join and engage with everyone else.

ParticipantThere is quite a lot of upside in his projection.
In 5 years you could have a heavy to play against force.
The shot is already harder than the hawks team currently has.
He is quick, big determined.

ParticipantSlaggart is a lot quicker.

ParticipantOmigosh, this “let the calls go!” carnival of errors just had familiarity and similarity to past games as the same players again made really inexcusable decisions.

Participant61 points in 65 games, pretty impressive considering it took them all 82 games to do it last year.
