Is amazing how much better goalies look when the team in front of them doesn’t take any shortcuts.

If anyone says otherwise just look at the teams we played, the Blackhawks had to scratch claw and fight to get any quality shots on goal. Most everything is contested.

It’s interesting following all these rebuilds and it always seems that the 2nd quarter of the season is the toughest for teams.

I’m happy that the short cuts have put to rest most times and they are playing through their opponents not around them.

I guess scouts forget to measure the size of the hearts of these prospects because Lardis is not taking any shortcuts and when i saw how he graded at the combine he’s no stranger to hard work.

Moore, Lardis and whoever is going to eventually be a hybrid 3rd shutdown slash scoring line.

I remember the days of our 3rd and 4th lines owning possession in the opponents zone, I’m beginning to see it in the very near future.

Arty has a problem with losing the puck when it is in his possession. He has to get better. His decision-making isn’t great in his own end. I know he is young, but this is the NHL. Not Here Long with play like that. There are four defensemen behind him looking for jobs.
