Most people who had issues with registration/emails were folks with Gmail addresses (including myself?). Got that sorted out finally.
It took me a week or 2 to finally get signed up. I had to request a password reset because the original registration email never came.
I finally got the email to my private email. I can login, but if I go to Bill’s column, it tells me to login to reply. Then I click login, re login, and it takes me back to the main page. I click on Flyers, and Bill’s column, and I am logged out again.
Just as a heads up, the only email that worked for me was a Gmail account. Hope you get to the bottom of it quickly!
Hi Bill, just a follow up on the post that didn’t show up in the “1st Overall Choice” thread we discussed. I tried a few different things. Refreshed the web page ~20 minutes later, opened a new Hockey Hot Stove tab and checked the forums, logged out and back in, etc. I had also saved a copy of the text of the post just in case (sometimes you can teach an old dog new tricks! LOL!). So, I copied and pasted it into the 1st overall choice thread and submitted the post that way 9i was logged in). A pop-up gave me the message along the lines of “duplicate detected…”. Maybe just a hiccup, but wanted you to be aware that the post went into the ether somewhere.
The main ongoing problem at this point (of which I am aware) is with delivery to Gmail addresses from our WordPress generated registration emails. We are still working on a fix. If you have a secondary email address, that seems to work.
