So, if you’re right, and I’m sincerely not disagreeing with you, maybe he is the perfect guy for a rebuilding team, absolute shit in the regular season but could be moved for a couple decent prospects/picks (not high end) at the deadline? I’m genuinely speaking with respect here UG, what’s your perspective with him?

Trade everyone over 25 at the correct moment. Some guys need to be traded sooner rather than later, others you can feed them playing time to pump their value and trade them later on.
If you’re talking about Domi, the playoffs don’t matter anymore so recover his value before you trade him. You won’t get anything for him now if you sell low.
OEL, Tanev, Carlo, McCabe, those types you trade at the deadline and some desperate playoff team or contender will overpay with a 1st round pick and prospects.
Other guys like Matthews and Nylander, you trade at the draft. When the team is gutted, eventually Tavares moves on too, so does Rielly and so on.
I will be keeping a close eye on Erik Karlsson tonight. I think he would be a great addition at the trade deadline to run PP1.
