WHIPPER
ParticipantThe shootout is the most infinitely ridiculous way to decide a hockey game. Why not decide basketball games with a dunk competition?
But, they also have to do something about 3v3 OT. Should be allowed to go back to your defensive half or something.

Agreed.
5v5 for 10 minutes.
No 3v3. No 4v4. No Shootout.
Bring back ties. Done.

ParticipantShhhh… let him keep claiming anti Leaf BS, it typically turns out well lol
They’d have 20 straight Cups. Doesn’t work.

Goalie vs goalie.
Face off at centre ice, then the goalies battle it out for the final goal.

Must be another nhl season.Having two rookies in net long term is a big risk. They should probably call Reimer back and start looking for goalies with NHL experience unless they want Boston to draft as high as possible.
Stolarz injury was worse than expected and while Woll is “only” out 1 week, that could be worse too given the history.

This is so retarded.
We all know the real solution is 5 goalies vs. 5 goalies until somebody wins.
If that doesn’t work, shots from center ice into an open net.
And if that still doesn’t determine a winner, full line brawl. Last team without a concussion wins.

Forgot reimer.
Stolarz has over 150 games, hardly a rookie anymore.
The issue isnt having young goalies or a rookie goalie in Woll, its that woll isnt reliable. Every time the leafs need him, he gets injured.December 8, 2025 at 12:37 pm #53625Unholy_Goalie

Stolarz and Woll are both injured. They aren’t the rookies I was referring to. The AHL call-ups are.
Stolarz and Woll are both unreliable because of injuries and both got injured because they played too often.
