Yeah, I’m still on the side of this team is a mess.
Both can be & very likely are true!
And for the record I agree with you – despite Angry Eyor who seems to get off on calling people retards or the other clown who is just a troll at this point celebrating any and everything that goes wrong with the Leafs.
The difference (as someone else pointed out) is most of us don’t choose to come here and be assholes about it every single day.

The team is/has been a mess for a while.
But, nice comeback win last night. Good to see.For me, Matthews needs to out answering questions after every game – win or lose. You’re the captain, ya gotta do it.
From the highlights I saw, Woll looked good. Good to see.
Leafs really need to get a winning streak going.December 17, 2025 at 12:41 pm #55301WHIPPER
ParticipantLeafs are down 2-0 to the worst team in the league without their best player.
Holy shit.
Just shitting all over Bowen’s legacy. Unreal.
Then what happened?!?
This Leaf team is so good they can show up for 8 seconds and win games. Exciting year.

ParticipantA quick Hildeby stat.
He is saving the leafs two goals on every 100 shots relative to the league average.
Which puts him at the 8th spot, ahead of Hellebuyck. Not too shabby.

Which means absolutely nothing because he’s only played 11 games. If Matthews had maintained his career goal scoring pace after his 1st NHL game, he’d have 2624 NHL goals right now. But it didn’t go that way, did it?
The Leafs don’t have a single goalie that can play 55-60 games and maintain that level of stat over that larger period of time without falling off or getting hurt.

you have unrealistic angry viewsbut after 11 games Matthews had 6 goals or .55 goals per game
his career is .63, so he has easily maintained the 11 game sample paceyou know, if dipshit was using the same sample for his dumb post

1 game or 11 games are both way too small of a sample size to have any idea of how any player’s career is going to go dipshit and you should know that by now.

he was just posting a simple stat, not drawing sweeping conclusions about anything, you just need to jump in and shit on anything because thats all you do.

“grrrr I’m so angry and whiny grrrrr”
My gawd, you’re a dumbfuck.
Your matthews comparison, doesnt even make sense in context with what i posted. Its a simple 11 game stat. Nothing more, nothing less.
No conclusions or predictions on how his career is going to go, how many kids he will have, where he will retire or if he will make it to the hall of fame.
Just a positive stat about how the kid is doing. Now I guarantee, that had Hildeby’s 11 game stat been that he’s letting in 2 MORE goals per 100 shots relative to league average….you’d be on here going on about how he will only ever be an AHL’er and he sucks, cry, cry, cry, libtards cry, cry, cry Im so lonely etc.

ParticipantNope no illusions, just trying to enjoy the wins and try to make it through the season without going to crazy. For the last few years it has been hard to trust and get excited about the success of the regular season. So not going to put much stock on this year’s results either. At this stage we have been spoiled with a fun exciting team to watch for several years so most fans are only concerned about the playoff results. Team is built much differently this year so won’t go overboard like you until I see what happens year end.
Shocked you were on here so shortly after a Leaf win. You usually only come on and bitch while shoving your opinions down our throats as facts.
Again no illusion. Leafs did better than the 2-2-1 you told us WOULD happen.

2-1-2 in their last 5, have a seat dipshit, this team sucks. Ahead of only Ottawa, Columbus and Buffalo with 5 teams ahead of them for a lowly wild card spot and a 1st round ass kicking.
