Is that in order of your preference, or just a list of potential options?

North Bay has this kid from Moldova..
7’1 285 lol..
If he can get his skating to be able to keep up in the NHL, he’ll be so much fun to watch.

I’d say both are pretty accurate.

While I respect going out of the box with the draft, I think not considering McKenna as at LEAST a top 3 pick is… let’s call it bold.

If the Leafs blow up the entire team, trade Matthews, Nylander, sure. But he’s small and a winger. He doesn’t fit with what the Leafs actually need. He’s another Taylor Hall. Which is fine, but not what the Leafs actually need. He’s not a RHD and he’s not a center and he’s pretty small. Those aren’t bold selling points.
Remember, Yakupov was #1 once upon a time. These small wingers bust all the time as #1 picks.

Yeah, I’m more of the mindset that you take the best player available regardless of your needs, but a 6’4″ 210lbs+ RHD is awfully appealing.

Best “player” means more than who scores the most though. Look at Taylor Hall. He was supposed to be the “best” offensive player from his draft but he has zero Cups and has been traded more than half a dozen times while Seguin and further down the draft, Tarasenko are the guys with Stanley Cups. McKenna might get the hype as the scoring machine but that’s not what the Leafs need. If you draft McKenna, then trade him immediately for players just as young who fit your needs, then sure. But if you draft McKenna and throw him into the NHL on this team, the Leafs still play the same bullshit brand of 5-4 hockey and lose in the playoffs every year.
You either tank, blow up the team, rebuild the foundation and make McKenna the new Nylander or you add pieces to the puzzle you don’t already have. This team, with the current core, would be way better off with a huge power forward LW or a huge top pair RHD than they are with another small, soft, weak, offense first winger.

If the PP was top 5-10 as it should be, the Leafs would probably be tied for the division lead.
The Leafs are 2nd worst in the NHL at drawing penalties. That’s probably because they don’t work hard enough to create O-Zone time which leads to teams taking penalties. But even with the 90 PP opportunities the Leafs have had, if they had scored 23 PP goals instead of the 12 PP goals they currently have, that would make the Leafs +2 instead of -9 on goal differential. If applied to the eight, one goal games that ended in L/OT/SOL, that could easily put them at 45 points instead of 35 points.
The Leafs would still be a fundamentally flawed team but an effective PP would make up for a lot of it. Considering the $ they have in what are supposed to be elite offensive players, there should be no chance in hell they are 32nd on the PP. That PP should be, at worst, clicking at 25% which would put them 8th overall on the PP.

I drink Guinness now. Mostly. But I did just have a Beaver Duck IPA (Sleeping Giant Brewery) and I guess it’s alright.
So what’s the next shoe to drop? Oh they just fired their assistant coach because the PP sucks ass? Wow. Maybe they should’ve tried harder to keep their best player who ran the PP and maybe Savvy would still have a job.
You know I’m going to be for every isotope for the nuclear fallout of MM16 leaving. So kick back, get comfortable, and enjoy the show.
