C’mon Mike… let’s try to be a bit more objective about the Wings. You think them having 31 wins is a coincidence? Why the negative bias. This isn’t last year’s Red Wings. The team has improved in every area of the game and has a much different / better lineup. The Wings are a team on the rise. Seider is now a Norris Trophy caliber defenseman. They are a good hockey team now… not perfect as they still need to work on team defense. But to say they are a “totally unimpressive squad” is a stretch.
