if you try to post on on HB from a machine without robust ad filter you literally can’t even do it. I don’t just mean it’s annoying, I mean a pop-up comes up and prevents you from writing your post.
That pretty much already happened when the website was down for, what, a week recently? Ek played it off like it was a website update or migration, but pretty sure that was bullshit. It’s dying, and fast.
I take no joy in this, I spent large chunks of almost 20 years on there. I just wish Ek would give up his whole schtick of being some connected insider. Like, dude, you weren’t talking or texting with an NHL GM today. Whipperest Guy Around
He also recently said he was “making a large upgrade in the spring”…well it’s the spring. I’ve emailed him a few times and he just ignores everyone hoping to collect money off the clicks still. Guy is clearly a fucking loser.
