ParticipantUnless something really good comes around I’d just keep them and use them. There seems to be a combination of skill and size that should be available right around there.

ParticipantI saw a mock trade of #12 + rakell for #4 and macelli. I would do this in a heart beat. The chances of Rak repeating last year are slim. Macelli will not be able to replace rak’s production getting us closer to McKenna. And porter Martone should be available at 4. 11 for Aitcheson hopefully and I would be pretty damn stoked on that first round.

ParticipantI honestly don’t know a whole lot about anyone in this year’s draft. I would be fine using one of the picks to obtain a young NHL ready forward.

ParticipantThe experts say it isn’t a deep draft but it feels like at 11 and 12 there are still some pretty capable options. I do hope we trade up for Martone though. Not sure I’d sacrifice both pics to move up but I’d consider it. Hopefully we can finagle that #4 out of Utah.

ParticipantI think there are so many options for this draft. We have basically 5 assets to work with. Two firsts, raks, rust, and EK. If we trade up to 4, I really like hagens but I love Martone too. I’m good with either one. Using two of the 5 assets to get there seems to be a good idea… but then if we want a RFA we have to part with another one of the assets.
It seems like we have a ton to work with but it dries up fast.

ParticipantLet’s get weird. Trade up TWICE and take Martone and McQueen.
